The idea of OdeFlora has been incubating a long time, over 15 years in fact. Katie Arani, Founder and Artistic Director, approaches floral and event experiential design as an artistic medium. With roots in art direction, fashion editorial and set design, she approaches any event with a desire to set a scene and tell a story. Whether that be a tale of two lovers uniting in marriage, or a brand looking for a design advocate that just gets it. Based in Dallas, Texas and available for select destinations.

  • Honestly, I still don't have any words for how amazing Katie is. She is the kindest, most talented, incredible florist/person I've ever met! Katie is incredibly thoughtful and cares so much about making sure that her clients aren't just happy, but ensures that the day will be perfect. Her talent goes beyond the beautiful florals/displays she creates - she is incredibly thoughtful with the details that she puts in (for example, we asked her to create a floral arrangement for my dad's memorial chair and she made the most beautiful display, and even gave his memorial bear a little boutonniere). Seeing how she completely transformed our venue, brought so much emotion and tears to myself and family when I finally got to see it. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone!!!

  • I don't even know where to begin to talk about Katie. She is more than a wedding vendor, a florist, or a business owner. She is one of the warmest and kindest souls I have ever met! From the beginning, Katie was so incredibly responsive. I told her my overall vision and she made me these beautiful proposals and flower boards that matched EXACTLY what vision I had in mind. Any time I wanted a tweak here and there as my vision changed a bit, she would respond almost immediately and recommend updates to our overall look. Her excitement during the whole process made me excited. She truly cares about whether you love your florals overall. She made the most incredible altar with me and made my reception look like a DREAM. Everyone was telling me how gorgeous the florals were and how the entire venue smelled so good from all of the flowers. And when I first saw the venue set up, I cried and she gave me the biggest hug ever! You can tell she really loves making your wedding dreams come true. Give Katie any style, any color scheme, any visions, and she won't just do it, she will ROCK it. There is seriously no better florist out there than Katie! here

  • Katie is an absolutely amazing florist and person! My family and I have used her several times for different events and each time, she never ceases to amaze us with her skills. My sister used Katie for her 2 weddings (fun covid times) and the florals were jaw dropping. Katie was also so sweet and helpful during those times. I got engaged shortly after and knew Katie had to be my florist! My husband actually had her do a gorgeous set-up for our proposal. For our wedding, she chatted with us and asked thorough questions and communicated quickly and clearly. She had a detailed quote for us within 48 hrs. If I changed my mind about anything, she was so patient and flexible with adjusting it. I also reached out to Katie multiple times to get her opinion on different ideas to go with the florals, such as table cloth colors and runners and I’m so glad I trusted her answers. Katie is so great at taking your vision and inspiration and making it come to life in her own unique way. Katie did my bridal portrait bouquets as well. Our florals, from the ceremony to reception (center pieces, sweetheart table, memory table, seating chart, etc.) were stunning and better than we could have imagined. Our wedding would truly not be as beautiful without her! I wish we could keep all her florals forever. We put complete trust in Katie and her team and she did not disappoint.   • My husband and I worked with Katie for our wedding in October 2019 at The Joule Hotel in Dallas. When we started looking for florists for our wedding, we stumbled upon Katie’s Instagram and fell in love with her style. After we met in person, we realized that we had found our florist. Katie is the only florist we spoke with during our planning process. Only speaking with one vendor is not our style- but when you know, you know! It is difficult to succinctly capture how incredible Katie is as both a florist and a person. She radiates creativity, and talent. For example- she will listen to your ideas, vision, suggestions and spontaneously sketch out the idea and it’ll be perfect. She enters a space and immediately understands exactly how everything should come together. Whether you know exactly how you want your wedding to look, or are unsure, Katie will work with you to bring it to life. Katie is also just a genuinely incredible person. She is kind, caring, responsive, prompt, honest, transparent, and professional. Also for any LGBT+ Dallas couples looking for a vendor, Katie is more than just someone who “Does Gay Weddings”. There is a big difference between someone who “does gay weddings” and someone who supports and will celebrate your love like Katie. This is important to mention because we struggled finding vendors/reviews who explicitly stated this during our planning process.   • Words can’t describe the feeling I got walking into my venue. Katie had it on LOCK. But my love for her began way before the day of! She was one of the first vendors I reached out to, and explained things, answered questions, and really *heard* me when I explained my vision. I felt immediately calmer and more excited after beginning this relationship. The work is so gorgeous it’s bananas. If you book with her, be sure to put a Bouquet Preservation Fund on your registry, because I can’t bear to part with mine!!

  • PERFECTION! I had been following Katie on social media for a while before my wedding, and she was the one vendor I was sure of! Everything I saw on her page was beautiful and so captivating even if it wasn’t in my color pallet! That’s why I gave her complete free reign on my wedding florals! She did an amazing job with everything and transformed my space. The day of she handled everything for me (even some things that weren’t in her description. I LOVE her work and personality and highly recommend her!

  • Y’ALL! Katie is my absolute favorite artist, person, and vendor! I can’t speak highly enough of Katie and what a joy it was to work with her! From our very first meeting in her adorable studio, I knew I found a true gem! She took all of my ideas and created something more beautiful than I could’ve hoped for or imagined! Katie answered every email and every question so quickly and always responded with patience and excitement! She was so helpful in working with our budget and our ideas, and helped us figure out how to get the most floral bang for our buck. Even when I came to her in our final meeting and wanted to change our color scheme slightly, she never made me feel bad or difficult. She saw our vision and ran with it! She always reminded us that this was our special day and she wanted it to be everything we imagined and let me tell you, IT WAS! One of my favorite moments before the wedding was when Katie came and got me so we could do a little flower reveal before the guests arrived! I stood there with tears streaming down my face as I looked at our venue full of flowers and light and love. We chose to splurge and do a hanging flower cloud (that’s what we liked to call it) and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The centerpieces on each table were so breathtaking and I wanted to walk around and sit at each table just so I could enjoy Katie’s creations! Each bouquet and corsage were stunning and unique’ Katie went above and beyond what we asked for and I will forever be so grateful for all her hard work and the passion she pours into her craft!We All I wanted to do that morning was stay there and soak in each and every detail that was so expertly crafted together! Even months after the wedding, I have friends and family tell me how much they loved the florals at our wedding and how they had never seen anything like it before! Katie and her team are the best of the best and we could not be more thankful that we trusted her with our special day! I was so sad when the wedding was over because that meant I didn’t get to see and talk to Katie anymore! But I know she’s going to continue to bless hundreds of other couples and help them have the most beautiful day possible. There are very few people who shine as bright as Katie and she will always be one of my heroes! I love her and cannot recommend enough— I promise you will be SO glad you chose this rockstar team!
